The objective of this 2007 report is to support educational and outreach efforts concerning the need for cleaner-burning gasoline, achieved with the use of clean-octane components, in the Asian-Pacific and the Middle Eastern regions.
The report was intended to be used as part of the then-ongoing discussions with refinery and automotive industries, government and regulatory officials, non-governmental organisations and interest groups, and other stakeholders concerned about fuel quality and air- pollution issues.
It targeted fuel parameters that most effectively bring high-valued results concerning health, environment, Responsible CareĀ®, product quality, energy supply, and economics for regional and local development of clean fuels.
